SKYPE’S NEW FEATURES
As a full-time traveler, it can be challenging to stay connected with my friends and family. Lucky for me, I have Skype to help me connect to my favorite people from anywhere in the world! Even YOU! This week I’m working on a fun collaboration with Skype where I’ll be exploring Milos and Mykonos, Greece but I’m asking you for tips on things I should do! From September 20-23rd I will have a daily group chat at 11 am EST where you join me live to send me on my next adventure for the next day. How to join my group chat:
- Log into Skype on your phone or web. Make sure to download it if you don’t already have it
- Add me on Skype by searching “ChristineOnSkype”
- Send a message and you will be added to the group chat
It’s super easy!! Once you do, you will find that Skype makes it fun to connect with the people you care about most. A few of my favorite new features include:
Highlights – Follow each other to share snapshots of your day. It’s interactive so you can react or reply to them. The snapshots will remain in the highlights section for 7 days
Skype Finder – Within a chat, you can swipe left to easily share videos, news, GIFs, restaurants and so much more!
Skype Bots – One of the coolest things ever! If you’re looking for flights let the bots do the work for you. Let’s say you’re looking for tickets from SF to NY in your chat, ask the Hipmunk or Expedia bot and they will automatically check flight times and pricing for you! It works on others too such as finding recipes or tickets to a sports game. Try it for yourself to see how awesome it is!
Video Calls – Easy video calls to a group chat in one easy click
Skype Search – Easily search for friends, chats, and bots
There are so many more fun features in Skype’s new update so go ahead and download it now and try it for yourself!
