OPPORTUNITY IS EVERYWHERE WITH UBER: TRAVEL & FOOD
This post was sponsored by Uber. As, Always all honest opinions are my own.
I’ve been to 44 countries so far and my top activities are always finding the best restaurants in town. I’ve always found myself looking for local favorites, instagrammable cafes/coffee shops and of course top-rated restaurants in each city. Out of the 44 countries, my top favorites include Mexico and Italy mostly because of the food!
After each trip back from Mexico & Italy I’ve always found myself craving tacos and pasta. Since living in New York, there are many options that allow me to find cuisines that make me feel like I’m back in my favorite country. Last weekend, I decided to be a tourist in my own city and dine at a few of the best restaurants using Uber to get me to my destinations.
There are new opportunities everywhere and Uber helps me find them daily. As someone who is traveling constantly, I find Uber to be one of the most accessible and reliable ride-sharing services. From getting me to the airport, picking me up from the airport and getting me around town. Not only do I use Uber during my travels but I use it daily to get to restaurant reservations on time. Uber opens new doors for me by helping me find new restaurants and places I haven’t been to. Last weekend I was craving tacos and decided to order an UberX to dine at Tacombi.
My ride arrived within minutes and made it to Tacombi on Bleecker St safely. The ambiance of the restaurant immediately made me feel like I was transported to Mexico. I loved their juice bar and open kitchen which made it fun to watch the chef prepare the tacos.
What to order: Al Pastor tacos!
I’ve visited Italy twice and each time have fallen in love with it even more, mostly because of the pasta. For dinner, I made reservations to an Italian restaurant I’ve been meaning to experience for a while now, Pietro Nolita. I requested an UberX from my apartment and arrived at my reservation on time, thanks to my awesome driver! The restaurant is made for Instagram with the pink walls and cute decoration. I had to snap a photo in front of the restaurant before heading in, it was too cute! Pietro Nolita’s ambiance is intimate, cozy and has delicious pasta. I had ordered the carbonara and it’s quite comparable to Italy! The pasta was cooked perfectly and the cheese was delicious.
What to order: Carbonara and Penne All’arrabbiata
When I travel, I also look for the best-known dishes in each destination. If you’re visiting New York, you must try a New York bagel since New York is known to have some of the best bagels in the world. My favorite bagels are from Black Seed Bagels, I like to go for the classic everything bagel. Thanks, Uber for getting me around town and opening new opportunities in helping me find new dining options around New York City.
