FOUR SEASONS RESORTS IN MALDIVES

After spending 4 days in Doha as a stopover before making our way to the Maldives with Qatar Airways I’m finally back for the second time in one of my favorite tropical destinations! This time we experienced two beautiful properties: Four Seasons Resort Maldives at Kuda Huraa and Four Seasons Resort Maldives at Landaa Giravarru.

The flight from Doha to Male Airport is about four hours. I visited during October which is the wet season but we got pretty lucky with the weather and only had rain one day out of the five. If you’re looking for a honeymoon destination this is it! I recommend looking into the Maldives honeymoon packages for both of the Four Seasons Resorts Maldives. I spent 2 nights in each property and had almost a full day on the last day since we had a late flight home. I would suggest spending at least a minimum of 3 nights each. Not only is the Maldives great for honeymooners but it’s great for families too. The Four Seasons has plenty of activities for kids, such as cooking lessons, snorkeling, feeding turtles and so much more. Guests can also request cribs and childproof the room with padding to furniture corners. I love this about the Four Seasons!

Four Season Resort at Kuda Huraa is located on Malé Atoll, in the serene turquoise waters of the Indian Ocean. This property is a colorful garden island with a Maldivian Village feel, perfect for those seeking a cozy and intimate setting.

HOW TO GET TO FOUR SEASONS RESORT MALDIVES AT KUDA HURAA

As soon as you arrive at the Male airport, the resort’s service begins. To reach the resort, you have to take a 25-minute speedboat ride from Malé International Airport, Kuda Huraa. The resort will be able to schedule this for you.

BEACH PAVILION ROOM

The resort has quite a few pavilions, bungalows, villas, and suites to choose from. I had the opportunity to stay in the Beach Pavilion.

WATER VILLAS

We had the opportunity to tour a few of the water villas and they’re stunning! I highly do recommend booking a room in a water villa, it’s an experience you will not regret!

FOUR SEASONS RESORT MALDIVES AT LANDAA GIRAAVARU

Four Season Resort Maldives at Landaa Giraavaru is located in the Baa Toll UNESCO biosphere reserve. This is one of the best resorts in the Maldives with a wilderness of tiffany blue waters, beautiful green jungles, and vibrant whites of sand.

To get to our next resort, we took a seaplane from Four Seasons Resort Maldives at Kuda Huraa to Four Seasons Resort Maldives at Landaa Giravarru and arrived within 30 minutes.

BEACH VILLA

I stayed in one of the Beach Villas and really loved it. The rooms were large and well lit. However, if you can the bungalows and water villas are designed to showcase a chic and contemporary marriage of Maldivian and Sri Lankan styles. Each villa offers beautiful panoramic views of the Indian Ocean, floor to ceiling windows, spacious sundecks, outdoor showers, and overwater lounging nets.

Although this is my second time coming to the Maldives, the experience was still amazing! I can never get tired of the clear blue waters and luxurious resorts.
