WHERE TO EAT IN BARCELONA
Barcelona is known to have the most amazing food and best tapas in the world! If you haven’t read my latest post onΒ Tickets BarΒ you probably should go read it after this post. There are no limitations because Spain is pretty cheap when it comes to food and wine! What I really love about dining in Barcelona is all of the outdoor seating, perfect for those summer nights! Here is a quick guide on where to eat in Barcelona.
La Bouqueria Market
La Boqueria is a large public market in the Ciutat Vella district of Barcelona. The market has a great selection of good and fresh food. I suggest trying the eggs with baby squid at El Quim. You will find colorful sweets, spices and juices all over the market. I opted for the juices and it wasΒ so fresh and only 2 euros! Address:Β La Rambla, 91, 08001, Barcelona
Chok
I was seeing multiple photos on Instagram of the famous kronuts at ChokΒ and had to try it! I’m a huge fan of the well known cronuts byΒ Dominique AnselΒ in New York!Β The store is so cute with pastel colors andΒ I loved the way the donuts wereΒ hanging off the walls. I wanted to try everything but only had theΒ kronuts. Address:Β Carrer de Carme, 3,Β Barcelona
Xurreria
XurreriaΒ is one of the best churros in Barcelona. After visiting Madrid and having changed my mind about churros since I was never a fan,Β I was on a mission to eat all the churros I could while in Spain. Xurreria has multiple locations throughout Barcelona and this one is right outside Sagrada Familia which was convenient. The churro is pretty good and they have a few flavor options such as caramel, chocolate and cream. Address:Β Placa de la Sagrada Familia, 26,Β 08013Β Barcelona
Ten’s Tapas Restaurant
Ten’s is a 2 michelin star restaurant. Every single dish was fresh and full of flavors. We came here for lunch and had a great time! The oysters were one of the favorites.
Cerveseria Catalana
Cerveseria Catalana is a locals favorite. AΒ few friendsΒ recommended this restaurant so I knew I had to try it. WeΒ ordered a lot of dishes but a few that stood out was the razor clams and baguette sandwiches. You gotta have the patatas bravas too! They do not take reservations so go early for a shorter wait. I waited about 20 minutes around 4:30pm.Β Address:Β Career de Mallorca, 236Β 08008, Barcelona
La Mar Salada
La Mar SaladaΒ is located aroundΒ Port Vell and is known for having delicious paella. You can’t leave Barcelona without having paella! We had it a few times and never got sick of it. I loved this seafood paella dish! Address:Β Passeig de Joan de BorbΓ³, 58-59, 08003 Barcelona

Isn’t the food in Barcelona amazing?! I loved La Boqueria from the colors to the food selection. I got to go at an off-peak time and truly enjoyed my experience there. I absolutely loved my meal at Vinitus and ended up eating there twice. It was nice to have the server remember you and give you great suggestions. I definitely miss my time in Europe (went for 40 days alone) but your pictures gave me great memories. Cheers.

That donut display is to die for! Barcelona seems to be a real foodie city. I have visited Barcelona twice, both times with a school trip I was leading. Touring around the city with 90 hormonal 14 year-olds did not leave much room for trying out the local cuisine! I have to go back!
