WHERE TO STAY IN ANTALYA: KAYA PALAZZO GOLF RESORT BELEK
This is my first time visiting Antalya, Türkiye. Antalya is a beautiful city where tourists visit for a Mediterranean getaway. It was the perfect location to start our babymoon and we stayed at Kaya Palazzo Golf Resort Belek, an all-inclusive 5-star luxury hotel. We started our trip in Antalya for four nights, Cappadocia for four nights, and ended our trip in Istanbul for three nights. We visited during the end of August and the weather was hot, from 90-100 degrees. Here’s my guide to Where to Stay in Antalya, Kaya Palazzo Gold Resort Belek.
HOW TO GET TO ANTALYA, TURKIYE
We flew from New York (JFK) to Istanbul Airport (IST) to Antalya Airport (AYT). Just an hour and 20-minute flight from Istanbul then and a 40-minute car ride to the resort. We booked our private airport transfers with the hotel, but renting a car is a good option if you plan to explore Antalya on your own or to visit other nearby towns.
ROOMS
There are many room options when staying at Kaya Palazzo Golf Resort Belek. We stayed in the Lagoon Suites which gives guests private access to the swim up lagoons and the Lagoon Restaurant.
RESTAURANTS
The resort has a total of 11 restaurants and bars. We did not get to experience all of them but the food was pretty good. My favorite was the Mezzo Fish Restaurant. Here’s a list of all the restaurants.
- Palazzo Buffet
- Palazzo Lounge
- Develi Restaurant
- Serafina Restaurant
- Palazzo Steak House
- Mezzo Fish Restaurant
- Yada Sushi Restaurant
- Lagoon Restaurant
- Lobby Lounge Bar
- Blue Pool Bar
- Patisserie & Brasserie
AMENITIES
Sports: The resort is very big and has a large golf resort. Guests are able to play Golf, Tennis and Football.
Pool & Beach: The pool here is massive and there are plenty of smaller pools around the property. Guests can reserve a private experience at an additional cost at the beach pier or the VIP pier which is what we did. It was super relaxing and had a bungalow for the day. The water was super nice and warm!
Aquapark & Mini Club: There are seven slides and a mini club for children 4 years and older.
Spa & Fitness: Guests can enjoy the fitness center and reserve a time at the spa. Ryan and I enjoyed a relaxing couples massage.
Each day the resort also had activities throughout the property such as yoga, beach volleyball, sea gymnastics, mini disco painting events for children, and a theatre for evening shows.
THINGS TO DO
Go on a walking tour in Antalya Old Town. We booked the tour with the hotel but exploring on your own if you have a car is great too.
Do a day trip to Pamukkale. I decided on Antalya because I wanted to visit Pamukkale, which is three hours away. This would be a full-day trip to visit the mineral-rich thermal waters. It is stunning, but due to my pregnancy, I’m unable to visit.
If you have a car, driving to Kas for a day or two would be a great idea! I have heard amazing things about Kas and wish we had time to go for a night. It’s about three and a half hours from Kaya Palazzo.
Visit The Lands of Legends. While staying at Kaya Palazzo, I did not realize The Lands of Legends is an amusement park and water park right next to the hotel. It also has a shopping mall, I wish we knew and went to explore or have dinner here.
Ryan and I had a relaxing and fun time at Kaya Palazzo Golf Resort Belek. I highly recommend visiting, and it’s very family-friendly.
