I recently spent a relaxing weekend at 1440 Multiversity, a new learning destination located in Scotts Valley, CA. Located an hour and a half from San Francisco, making it one of the most convenient getaways for individuals or couples. 1440 Multiversity aims to attract visitors who are looking for personal growth, learning experiences and for some R&R. The campus is situated in between the redwood forest which feels like I was far away from the busy city life in San Francisco.
THREE WAYS TO STAY
1. CHOOSE A PROGRAM
There are many programs for visitors interested in personal growth, health and wellness or professional development. Check the website for a full list of programs.
2. R&R
One of the best ways to relax and take time to yourself is to enjoy daily yoga classes and spend time walking along the redwood trails. Learn more here.
3. GROUP RETREAT
1440 Multiversity offers group retreats for off-site meetings, training, conferences and other events. Learn more about groups and corporate retreats here.
ACCOMMODATIONS
Ryan and I stayed in the Deluxe Room with our own private bathroom and balcony. The room is spacious, clean and we loved being able to wake up with a view of the redwoods. See a list of accommodations here.
DINING
Breakfast, lunch and dinner are included with the experience. All meals are at Kitchen Table, the menu changes daily and features a variety of locally sourced homemade food. The food is fresh and high quality. There are set times for each meal.
The Common Grounds Cafe is open all day and offers snacks, coffee, and wine.
HEALING ARTS
Looking for some relaxation at the spa? The Healing Arts features a relaxation room, changing rooms, steam rooms, private showers and 22 treatment rooms. The best part is the infinity hot tub in the middle of the redwoods.
