U BY UNIWORLD RIVER CRUISES FOR MILLENNIALS
I was recently invited to Paris to join the inaugural sailing along the Seine River in Paris abroad the new U by Uniworld luxury boutique ship, The B. When I was first invited, I was super excited because the idea behind U by Uniworld is all about a new take on travel with river cruising for travelers. I’ve been on plenty of cruises and it’s typically catered to a much elderly crowd. U by Uniworld river cruises for millennials is the first river cruise dedicated to anyone 21-45 years old. It offers unique cuisines and travel experiences across Europe. U by Uniworld has created the ultimate river cruise for millennials and I honestly had one of the best experiences ever on a cruise!
U by Uniworld will begin sailing in April of 2018 with multiple itineraries around Europe. It’s affordable and one of the best part is how convenient it is to travel from city to city and only having to pack and unpack once! The ship offers some of the best tours for anyone who is looking to explore the city and has the best food ever! Chefs have come from well known restaurants and have created the ultimate dining experience. The excursions, food, and parties are all included in your package!
U BY UNIWOLRD
When I first arrived on the ship I was already obsessed with the decoration. The design is modern, fun and has images of celebrities along the halls making it feel like we’re in Hollywood. Each room also has its own balcony with a view.
AMENITIES
- GYM
- SPA
- COFFEE BAR
- LOUNGE ROOM
- 2 BARS

- LAUNDRY ROOM
DINING
The food on the ship was my favorite! I’m a big foodie so when the food is top notch it makes my experience 10x better. The food is made fresh daily by the renowned chefs so you will always feel like you’re eating at one of the best restaurants in town. They have communal seating so it makes it easy to get to know your neighbors and become great friends!
- Breakfast – Pastries and coffee
- Brunch – Buffet style. Menu can change daily on special dishes like pasta
- Dinner – Pre fixe menu daily
EXCURSIONS
U by Uniworld offers tons of excursions each day for guests to choose from. They offered daily morning yoga on the rooftop. The first day we arrived my friend Diana and I decided to go on a boat cruise along the Seine to learn more about Paris’s iconic landmarks. At night, everyone went up the Eiffel Tower! You’ll get some of the most stunning views of Paris.
On the second day of the trip, we decided to go on the rooftop tour around Paris. Paris is full of amazing rooftops and it made it easy having a guide showing us the best rooftops. That night the crew and staff held a renaming ceremony to celebrate the maiden voyage with a live band and lighting lanterns to send off wishes to The B.
Day three of the trip we arrived in Rouen, France!! The ship held a mixology class and a paint & wine class in the morning. A few of us and myself went on a walking tour in Rouen to explore the town. We also visited a building across the Cathedral where the artist, Monet use to paint from.
On the last day of our trip, we visited Versailles! I haven’t been since 2008 and was super excited to get a private tour of the property. U by Uniworld planned an awesome farewell party with customized pajamas for everyone! It was definitely a night to remember and I did not want it to end.
OTHER EXCURSION OPTIONS:
- Bike tour along the Seine
- Panoramic breakfast on a gastronome bus
- Paris Catacombs
- Treasure hunt at the Louvre
- Kayak along the Eure River
- and so much more!
U by Uniworld has made history for river cruises for millennials! From the boutique room, parties, excursions, food and the friendly staff, I’m now convinced river cruises is now one of my new favorite ways to travel. I made so many new friends on the trip and so will you! I highly recommend everyone to try it, trust me you’ll LOVE it!
