LUXURY VILLAS AT SEA HORSE RANCH

I recently visited the north coast of the Dominican Republic and stayed at the Sea Horse Ranch in Cabarete. Sea Horse Ranch is a luxury gated resort with villas for sale and for rent. The property has over 250 acres of inspiring lush terrain, a beach club, a tennis club, and seaside pools. What I really enjoyed about the property is the on-site organic farm and equestrian center.

The ranch is located less than 10 minutes from Cabarete. A small town with plenty of great restaurants, bars, and shops right on the beach. If you enjoy going out at night, Cabarete offers great nightlife after 10 pm.

I stayed at the Villa Ataraxia which is a Mediterranean style beachfront villa with 5 bedrooms and 6 bathrooms. The perfect villa for large groups and families. It offers stunning sea views from all areas of the villa and has a private cliffside view of the Atlantic ocean! I made sure to see the sunrise as much as possible! The villa has Mexican terracotta tile floors, mahogany woodwork, and stunning granite countertops. It also has a stainless kitchen with marble bathrooms and a walk-in closet in the master bedroom! We all know I love walk-in closets! The outdoor patio overlooks the pool and ocean which is perfect for relaxing and outdoor dining. The villa is also equipped with WiFi.

As I mentioned earlier, one of my favorite things about the resort is the on-site farm, Villa Orgánica. It’s now certified USDA organic and provides the freshest produce for purchase. Which includes juicy tomatoes, pumpkin, eggplant, lemon grass, sweet pepper, arugula, mint and so much more! It is open to the public on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays from 4-6pm.

Sea Horse Ranch offers monthly full moon dinner parties to anyone staying at the ranch. I was lucky to experience the full moon dinner in our villa hosted by Villa Orgánica where all of the food was prepared fresh and all produce was from the garden. The food was delicious! It was fresh, healthy and during sunset.

My other favorite part about the resort is the Eqestrian Center which offers organized tours and classes. If you’re looking for a private horse ride along the beach, reservations should be made 1 day in advance.
