BEST LUXURY HOTEL IN MONACO: THE FAIRMONT MONTE CARLO
Did you know Monaco is a country in Europe? I actually had no idea until my recent trip to Monaco! Monaco is located on France’s Mediterranean coastline and known for its fancy casinos, yacht’s and the Formula 1 Grand Prix. I’ve been to France multiple times but have never visited the South of France, so when The Fairmont Monte Carlo invited me to visit I was more than excited to finally make my way there. The Fairmont Monte Carlo is known as the best hotel luxury hotel in Monaco and I can see why!
THE FAIRMONT MONTE CARLO
The hotel is conveniently located in the heart of the Principality of Monaco and sits above the sea, allowing stunning sea views throughout the property. The Fairmont is situated between Italy and France allowing guests to take day trips to explore other countries! If you’re a Formula 1 fan, each year the Monaco Grand Prix runs through The Fairmont Hairpin, the most exciting curve during the race. Guests can watch the Monaco Grand Prix from the balcony of the Fairmont Monte Carlo.
THE ROOM
The Fairmont Monte Carlo has 602 guest rooms, residences, and suites which all have a private terrace. As I walked through the hallways I realized the designed reminded me of a cruise ship, making me feel like we were really above the sea! My room had an ocean view making it perfect for watching the sunrise and sunset.

VISIT OTHER TOWNS IN THE FRENCH RIVIERA
I suggest doing a few day trips to near by towns such as Menton or Eze. If you have extra time to explore the French Riviera I reccomend spending a few days in Nice that way you’re able to drive and stop by other towns along the way. From Monaco – visit Eze, Villefranche-sur-Mer and spend a few days in Nice.
I had such an amazing time staying at The Fairmont Monte Carlo and I hope you do too!
