ASPIRATION SUMMIT REVIEW
As a traveler, I’m always trying to find ways to save money or earn money. One major way to do that is by having a checking account that earns money and has no hidden bank fees to access my money. I’m never happy when I see bank fees on my statement or ATM fees (I have plenty of them from my current bank).
I recently learned about Aspiration. They offer a Summit Checking Account that offers up to 1.00% APY! I worked for a big bank in the past and most or all checking accounts typically do not earn any interest. This is 100x better than what I’m currently getting, this alone is a winner in my bank account!
The Summit Checking Account was named “Best Checking Account in America” by Money magazine and here’s why:
- Free access to every ATM in the world!
- No monthly minimums
- No monthly bank fees. You choose what to pay. No really, they believe in customers setting their own fees based on the service they receive
- Giving back: They pay 10% of revenue to charity
- AIM (Aspiration Impact Measurement): They provide you a sustainability score which allows you to see the impact you’re making on people and the planet based on your spending habits
- Mobile app to make your life easy. They offer mobile check deposits so there’s no need for a branch.
I can do all my banking from anywhere in the world all for free, never worry about the bank taking my money and I’m actually earning money from my existing cash. Aspiration lives by a “Do well, do good” lifestyle by giving back to the community. This is something I highly value and motivates me to support the business that gives back.
They are FDIC insured so don’t worry you’re protected. Overall, Aspiration Summit Checking is not only ideal for travelers but for anyone who’s interested in earning more money in their bank account. Say goodbye to fees by joining today!

Do you know there’s a foreign transaction fee associated with using this for ATM worldwide?
