TICKETS BAR: FUN, INNOVATIVE AND THE BEST RESTAURANT IN BARCELONA

Tickets Bar is ranked 29 on The World’s 50 Best restaurants in the world! Tickets Bar is fun, innovative and the best restaurant in Barcelona! The restaurant is circus themed which makes for a fun experience. The food is gastronomic and one of the most imaginative tapas experience I’ve ever had, they even have a secret dessert bar that takes you into a fairy tale candy land.

Tickets Bar is owned by two brothers, Albert and Ferran Adrià. They have multiple restaurants in the area and all have great reviews. If you’re unable to get reservations to Tickets, I suggest trying one of their other popular restaurants: Pakta, Bodega 1900, Hoja Santa and Nino Viejo.

How to Get Reservations: Reservations are required and are available two months out. They open the reservation at midnight. Give yourself a few available days for dinner and have an alarm set to make reservations on their website. The website tends to crash but keep refreshing and opting for different times. I was able to get reservations the second day of trying and boy was I happy! You can make a reservation here

After two months of anticipation, the day has arrived! The place is casual, fun and I was blown away by every single dish! Everything I ate was unexpected and blew my mind away!

We ordered quite a bit but everything is small and bite size. It was the perfect amount and I was completely content with everything we had! The olives were definitely unique. I wish I could have tried more food but we wanted to leave room for dessert. There is nothing bad here so anything ordered will be more then exceptional.

Dessert

The restaurant has a secret dessert bar hidden in the back. With very limited seating, not everyone is able to experience it. I asked if we could get seated there and lucky for us we got a seat! Once I walked into the room I felt like I was in a fairy tale candy land! Strawberries were hanging from the ceiling and when we got seated there was a rose on the table that had edible jelly in the middle! We gave them the option to provide us with their best desserts.

There’s no other tapas bar in the world quite like Tickets. It’s truly a fun, innovative and one of the most creative and best restaurants in Barcelona! For such a great dining experience, the meal was a little over $100 per person USD. It was very affordable and I was very surprised how cheap it was for the amount of food we had. Don’t leave Barcelona without trying Tickets or at least one of the multiple restaurants from the Adrià Brothers.

Have you visited a fun, innovative restaurant like Tickets? I would love to know about more restaurants like this. Comment below!

This is so cool! After living in Spain I kind of gloss over when you say tapas, but this is really interesting! I love restaurants that create something new.

Ooh that is a bargain for an Adria meal. Looks amazing. We had the rose lychee at a special series of dinners they did in London recently. I would love to try Tickets next time we are in Barcelona

We were here in April, one of the best meals we have ever had, from the olives to those eclairs (and that “pancake”) and it was so much fun… I have to go drool over my pix now!

The imagination and creativity of Albert Adria is unparalleled.
The olive-s, and the lychee/rose dessert are indescribable to anyone who has not experienced how they gently explode in your mouth, triggering a response in every corner of your palate.

Saw your blog as I am organizing my attempt to get reservations at Tickets. Nice job!

If in Turin you should try Combal Zero. I had a fabulous meal there and it was created with humour and ingenuity. I’m sure you’d like it too.
