SOARING OVER NEW YORK CITY WITH FLYNYON

FlyNyon

New York is one of the best cities in the world and has one of the best skylines in the world. One of the best ways to see it all is on a helicopter ride soaring over New York City and having a bird’s eye view of Central Park, Times Square, Empire State Building and the World Trade Center! There are many New York helicopter tours but none like FlyNyon. FlyNyon provides a unique adventure experience that allows guests to hang their feet out of the helicopter for the perfect shoe selfie!

FLyNyon

The Experience

NYC Experience – $199 per person for 15 minutes and takes off from Kearny, NJ. This ride flies around downtown Manhattan where guests can capture amazing shots of the Statue of Liberty, Governor’s Island, Brooklyn Bridge, Battery Park, Financial District and the World Trade Center.

Manhattan Experience – $399 per person for 15 minutes and takes off from 34th st in Manhattan. This ride provides opportunity for guests to decide on downtown but also have sights set on Times Square and Central Park.

NYC Classic – $499 per person for 30 minutes and takes off from Kearny, NJ. This ride allows guests to see all of Manhattan’s iconic landmarks! This longer flight time allows passengers more chances to take amazing photos and great opportunities for the perfect shoe selfie with every landmark.

FlyNyon

I chose the NYC Classic and did not regret it one bit! Each ride has a max capacity of 5 passengers and don’t worry each person will have a seat to hang their feet out. The 30 minute ride went by so fast and I felt like I did not have enough time in the air. I could have easily spent another 30 minutes soaring over New York. I highly suggest going during golden hour or sunset for the best photo opportunities.

Where else does FlyNyon fly?

Miami – San Francisco – Los Angeles

Things to know before your flight

  • Arrive 45 minutes early with a photo ID
  • Age limit is 12 years of age
  • Bring all cameras. They provide attachments to all equipments so they do not fall
  • iPhones tends to shut off in the air due to the cold air
  • Ladies – bring a hair tie
  • Wear a warm jacket. It gets cold up there!
  • Leave your sunglasses and hat at home
  • Wear cute shoes!

Thank you FlyNyon for taking me on my very first helicopter ride and helping me check this off my bucket list. This was one of the best experiences I ever had and can’t wait to fly with them over Miami, San Francisco and Los Angeles!

Hahaha, brilliant! I would be tempted to pretend I was a giant, crushing the skyscrapers below, and trying to get pictures to match! It looks thrilling however you do it, and the NY skyline is definitely among the best in the world 🙂

Yes to the two statements on the first sentence of this post! New York is undeniably beautiful and being able to tour it from a helicopter is such a great experience. That skyline is so beautiful. Seeing your feet dangle off of the helicopter is giving me major altophobia. Haha!
