When I first started blogging, one of my goals was to work with top luxury resorts such as The Ritz-Carlton. During my recent trip to Thailand, I had the opportunity to stay at the newest Ritz-Carlton property in Koh Samui. Located on the coconut island paradise on the Gulf of Thailand, the luxury resort provides customers a relaxing and unique experience for couples and families.

THE RITZ-CARLTON KOH SAMUI LUXURY RESORT

Koh Samui is Thailand’s second largest island and known for its coconut groves and beaches. An hour flight from Bangkok makes it super easy to travel to. From the moment I arrived on the property, the staff greeted my friend and escorted us to the lobby for check-in. The lobby has a beautiful setting made perfect for sunset. Each day in the lobby, they offer happy hour drinks and snacks to watch the sunset.

THE SUITES

The Ritz Carlton, Koh Samui offers 175 suites and pool villas overlooking The Gulf of Thailand. I stayed in the pool villa and was beyond impressed by the bathtub, bedroom, and outdoor space. The villa has an outdoor shower and lounge area to spend hours in the sun.

The property has a total of 6 restaurants and bars, each serving a unique experience.

• BAAN TALAT – Delicious Thai cuisine for dinner
• SEA SALT – Serves lunch by the pool and beach. A must order is the Tom Yum Pizza!!
• PAK TAI – Fine dining with traditional Thai shows throughout the night.
• TIDES – Bar snacks by the pool with a refreshing cocktail, ice cream and the most delicious ceviche’s!
• ONE RAI – Bar and lounge area perfect for sunset evenings

SPA

The Spa at The Ritz-Carlton, Koh Samui is one of the most elaborate spas I’ve experienced! They offer 8 treatment suites, 3 massage pavilions, yoga pavilion, lap pool with cabanas and a health bar.

I had an amazing experience at The Ritz-Carlton in Koh Samui and would highly recommend it! The staff was friendly, accommodating and always made sure we had a great time. The food was some of the best meals I had in Thailand and I cannot wait to return!
