Figuring out where to stay in Grand Cayman may not be the easiest as there’s plenty of great options! A few weeks ago I was invited by Camana Bay to explore Grand Cayman and lucky for me I stayed at one of the best accommodations on Seven Mile Beach. I stayed at the luxury Kimpton Seafire Resort & Spa which also has The Residences at Seafire on the property.

From the moment I arrived, I already knew I was going to fall in love with the property! The Kimpton Seafire Resort is stunning, with large open doors, high ceilings and decorations they were ready for the holidays. I arrived late at night, the staff was already waiting for me and welcomed me with champagne. After I checked in, they escorted me to my room where I had complimentary champagne, chocolates, and gifts.

The Kimpton Seafire Resort & Residences created its name from the magical sunsets that set the sea and sky on fire. We saw plenty of magical sunsets during our stay!

KIMPTON SEAFIRE RESORT & SPA ROOM

The Kimpton Seafire Resort & Spa has 266 guestrooms and suites that offer ocean views with private balconies. I had my friend join me on the trip and we stayed in one of the guestrooms with ocean views which we truly couldn’t get enough of. The room and bathroom are spacious and has the most comfortable linens ever!

THE RESIDENCES AT SEAFIRE

The Residences at Seafire are unbelievable! The luxury real estate beachfront residence is a 10 story building with 62 residences and are on the same property as the Kimpton Seafire Resort & Spa. They share the same amenities but have some exclusive amenities for the residences such as a dedicated parking, private entry, private pool and rooftop. Martyn Lawrence Bullard, an interior designer who designed the lobby and the rooftop lounge, The Nest. Fun fact, he also designed the Kardashian’s homes!

The Residences offers one to five bedroom residences, currently for sale. My friend, Frances and I was lucky to tour the five-bedroom condo and it blew me away! The condo has the most beautiful living space, kitchen, room, bathrooms and the most incredible ocean views. It’s also the only 5 bedroom residence available at Seven Mile Beach. The Residences are an exclusive Cayman Islands real estate listing of Provenance Properties Cayman Islands which is an affiliate of Christie’s International Real Estate in Cayman.

The Residences features convertible NanaWall folding glass doors which makes you feel like you can be indoor one second and outdoor the next. I loved the open kitchen and living space with the best views of the Caribbean Sea. I’m a huge fan of sustainability, the building uses advanced energy efficiency with solar power and geo thermal cooling. Both the resort and The Residences use LED lights which last longer and requires less maintenance as well as releasing less heat energy.

THE NEST ROOFTOP LOUNGE

The Nest is a exclusive owner’s rooftop where residents can enjoy the perfect sunset and host parties. Owner’s can grill on the rooftop for the perfect BBQ and also order from the hotel restaurant to host the perfect party. With plenty of outdoor seating and lounging areas, I could have spent the entire evening at The Nest!

The Residences at Seafire are currently available for purchase, ranging from $1 million to $8 million USD. If you enjoy staying at Seafire Resort & Spa you will definitely enjoy living here!

One of the staff even made Frances soup when she first arrived and was not feeling well. They really go above and beyond to make you feel at home and have the best experience. Ave – The resort’s main restaurant offers daily breakfast, dinner and Sunday brunch. They offer a la carte and breakfast buffet.

Avecita – A Spanish wood fire restaurant serving the best tasting menu at the dining counter. The restaurant also offers communal seating for modern Spanish tapas. I suggest opting for the tasting menu (7 or 9 courses) at the dining counter! Frances and I had the most amazing meal ever, the staff was very knowledgeable and we loved watching the staff prepare our dishes.

Coccoloba – The beachside bar & grill has some of the best tacos and crab dip!

Seafire Panty – Offers on the go drinks and snacks. Definitely, make a purchase to try the amazing cronuts!

Seafire Pool Bar – Enjoy snacks and fresh cocktails at the pool.

SPA

Relax and pamper yourself with a day at the spa. They offer seven treatment rooms with full services: massage therapy, body treatments, facials, manicures, pedicures and a steam room.
