HOW TO SPEND THREE DAYS IN PARIS

Paris is a city I always enjoy visiting and can never get enough of. So when I was invited to visit Parisย during Paris Fashion Week with Sofitel Hotels I was more than excited! During the three days, we were able to see many of my favoriteย places! When visiting Paris, I would recommend at least a week to see everything the city has to offer but if you have a short amount of time, here’s how to spend three days in Paris.

WHERE TO STAY

Sofitel Le Faubourg is a luxury 5-star hotel located in the 8thย arrondissement. The property is centrally located to restaurants, shopping and tourist attractions such as the Grand Palais, Louvre Museum and the Eiffel Tower. They have 111 rooms, I stayed in a room with an open balcony overlooking the street of Paris. The property allowed me to feel like a local living in a charming Parisian apartment.

Sofitel had invited us to a fun event during Paris Fashion Week for their La Nuit party full of drinks, food, and dancing.

DAY 1

TROCADERO

Trocadero is my favorite place to shoot and visit every time I visit Paris. It has many great vantage points for great photos of the Eiffel Tower. I recommend visiting during sunrise as the light is the best for photo shoots at this location.

LE VILLAGE ROYAL

Only a block from the Sofitel Le Faubourg hotel is Le Village Royal. This area is an open-air passage with shops and currently has an Umbrella Sky Project Installation through April 2019.

SHOPPING

Just a few steps from the Sofitel Le Faubourg hotel are luxury designer shops such as Chanel, Gucci, Dior and many more. If you’re interested in visiting a department store, Galeries Lafayette is 15 minutes by foot or 5 minutes by car. Galeries Lafayette has a rooftop and restaurants.

DAY 2

LOUVRE MUSEUM

Theย Louvre Museum is a must visit if you’ve never visited. I highly recommend visiting at sunrise as well for the best photos without crowds.

LE PALAIS ROYAL

Just located a few minutes from the Lourve Museum, the Palais-Royal is a former royal palace worth visiting for photos

LE CAFE MARLY

I recommend visiting Le Cafe Marly for lunch and get a seat outside with a view of the Lourve Museum. The prices are a bit high given its location but it’s worth it and the pasta is amazing.

DAY 3

MONTMARTRE

One of Paris most charming neighborhoods is Montmartre. Explore the neighborhood and find some of the cutest cafes for lunch or coffee.

Montmarte

RUE DE L’UNIVERSITE

One of the most famous streets for photographers with the Eiffel Tower view.

ARC DE TRIOMPHE

Arc de Triomphe is the perfect location for sunset. If you have time, I recommend going to the top for 12 euros to watch the sunset.

Paris will always pull me back and there is so much more to see and do in the city of love! I was truly living the French lifestyle, and huge thank you to Sofitel Hotels for inviting me on the perfect three-day trip #LifeTheFrenchWay
